I directed the original production of this new piece in January for our friends at Room 5064 Productions, for whom I have directed other shows, including Mark's play We Apologise for the Inconvenience (2018-20) and Sitcom Stories (2019). Masterspy, a hilarous 1980s-set farce thriller featuring several real cultural icons of the period, went down very well with audiences in Manchester, and so Room 5064 gave us at Hat Hair Productions their blessing to take the piece on tour. Photo: Shay Rowan The Autumn tour of Philip Larkin: Masterspy has taken in performances at Hull, Oldham, Preston and London, and now concludes with two performances back at the play's original home. The play was first performed at Manchester pub The Seven Oaks in January, to which it will be returning for the two final performances at 7.30pm on Thursday 16th and Friday 17th October. Tickets for these performances can be booked here . Please note the previously-announced additional Manchester performances on Wednesday 15th and Saturday 18th October have been cancelled due to unforseen circumstances.

On two of the dates (20th September in Oldham and 4th October in London) the play is running as the second half of a double-bill with Together in Electric Dreams, another play which I directed, produced by our friends at Scytheplays Ltd.
